The tribal families in Naalchha block have got permanent roof over their head. They no more have to worry about leaking roofs or chilly winter nights. This is because Dhar center of Lupin Foundation provided support to these tribal families for constructing pucca (concrete) houses.

Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh has large tribal population. These tribal communitiesare mainly dependent on agriculture, which is vulnerable to monsoon eccentricities. Hence, they also work as labourers to earn their livelihood. Incidence of poverty is high among this tribal population. LHWRF Dhar is working in 17 villages from 4 Gram Panchayats of Naalchha block in the district.

LHWRF is helping tribal people to construct economic concrete houses. Half of the expenses are incurred by the beneficiary while remaining provided by the organisation. During 2016-17, about 99 tribal families were benefitted from this house construction activity.

In addition to this, assistance has also been provided to construct shops, which has enabled tribal families to start their own enterprises. Vishram, Gopal, Ghatiya and Maangilal have started grocery shops in their villages, while Ramlal has set up Shoe shop and puncture business in the village Mewas Jaamniya. These activities have increased their monthly income.
