Message from CSR Head
"At LHWRF, 2024-25 has been defined by progress, partnerships, and purpose. Our vision remains creating long-lasting change in underserved rural communities. A major milestone was launching our flagship Agriculture Based Livelihood Empowerment (ABLE) Program, empowering over 20,000 small and marginal farmers. In rural healthcare, our Lives Program introduced three new Mobile Medical Vans (MMVs) equipped with diagnostic tools and medicines, bringing care directly to those who need it most."
Agriculture is the base of rural India’s economy, yet low productivity, traditional methods, and limited technology access prevent farmers from reaching their potential.
Our program addresses these through technology-enabled, climate-resilient interventions focusing on agriculture and allied activities for sustainable income enhancement.
Through community collectives and capacity building, we enable knowledge sharing and resource pooling. Our commitment to natural resource management ensures environmentally conscious development, empowering marginalized communities to achieve dignified livelihoods and lasting socio-economic transformation.
In 2024-25, various livelihoods initiatives impacted over 2,48,256 families.
The Lives program, also known as Desh Bandhu Jan Aarogya Sewa, is a community healthcare initiative that tackles Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in underserved rural areas through early detection and timely intervention. Through MoUs with Rajasthan and Maharashtra governments, the program launched in Alwar and Palghar, strengthening partnerships between government health services and community-level initiatives.
At its core is community-based screening, door-to-door and village level screening for identification of NCDs such as cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), diabetes, asthma, hypertension, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Mobile Medical Vans equipped with diagnostic tools and healthcare professionals provide on-the-spot consultations and follow-up care, bridging critical gaps in rural healthcare.
In 2024-25, the Lives program screened over 1,65,888 individuals.
