Livelihoods
The Lives program focuses on improving the availability, accessibility, and utilization of healthcare services to the marginal and deprived populations with structured efforts.
The vision of the Lives program is
Economic empowerment of vulnerable rural communities.
The purpose of the livelihood program is to provide need-based, locally relevant, and sustainable livelihood solutions to enhance the income of the underprivileged in the selected geographies of Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Pillars of our Livelihoods Program:-
-
Introduce advanced agricultural and animal husbandry practices, enabling farmers to gain better economic returns and providing value creation and asset formation opportunities.
-
Water harvesting and natural resource management through various community-led measures.
-
Organizing and strengthening community-based organizations to empower women, youth, and small marginal farmers.
-
Develop employable skills and local enterprises amongst women and youth. Special attention is laid on the skill-building of local artisans and craftspeople. Skill up-gradation, handholding, and market linkage support are provided to enhance their economic growth potential.
Strategic partnerships and systematized efforts have been instrumental in maximizing the impact of our work and enriching the lives of grassroots communities.
